Trash, Traffic and Tranquillity

Rain delayed my walk until 11 am, and already vehicles were whizzing along (well over 30 mph), but I managed to find some smooth clean beach at low tide. For some reason I decided to climb up on the nearest of the far rocks - one of the "tawny lions". Even in the grey drizzle the bluffs were magnificent. Apart from the trash and traffic this must be the most spectacular beach on Long Island.

But there was also the usual trash to collect.
