Presumably either a vehicle or a hunter's missile hit it, though neither option is very reassuring. Given the speeding traffic and the frequent gunfire Reeves beach is not a very peaceful place, except at 7 in the morning.
I then proceeded to collect a lot of trash.
The tide was unusually low completely exposing this rock.
