I was in Maine (Cape Elizabeth area) for 5 days with family - the beaches there had lots of people (even at 7 am) and no trash, the opposite of here (lots of trash but, strangely, very few people, except in cars). Lots of trash, and worse, had accumulated during my short absence. Here's some of yesterday's:
