it started good....
At first I thought there was almost no fresh garbage - just this balloon (probably drifted from across the Sound) and a couple of other items.
But then, at the end of my walk back, at the bottom of these stairs:
there was a bunch of other trash:
But considering the night before was a saturday, not too bad. Maybe one day there will be no fresh trash on the beach?

Out of sight out of mind?
Tide a bit lower so easier to run. In addition to this trash on the beach, I collected half a contractor bagful of garbage behind the dune line, where people have taken to throwing it. Out of sight out of mind?

Internet Problems, catching up
My internet failed on sunday because of rain on the phone line, so I have a lot of catching up.
